Social Development Department Minister Sisisi Tolashe has pledged her guidance and dedication to enhancing South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) providers throughout an engagement with all the company's senior managers in a strategic scheduling session in Cape Town.
Tolashe on Tuesday expressed her heartfelt congratulations to the many social grant beneficiaries, who excelled inside the 2024 matric examinations.
From the 724 156 full-time learners who registered to the National Senior Certification (NSC), 572 338 are social grant beneficiaries, representing 81% on the registered pupils inside the schooling sector.
These learners reached a commendable pass rate of 86%.
